Michael Corboy is running free regular training sessions for Lake City athletes.

These sessions are on Wednesday 4.30 p.m,

·   presently at Smallbone Park Clubrooms.

·   free to Lake City Athletes. 

 

Sessions involve working on :

·   A relaxed and efficient natural running style.

·       Plyiometrics to activate fast twitch muscle fibres resulting in more speed.

·       Speed Drills to improve cadence and posture.

·       Explosive activities to quicken reaction times.

·       A basic strength programme for posture and trunk stability.

·       A static and dynamic stretching programme for flexibility and elasticity - important for
   explosiveness.

·       Frequent relaxed speed sessions to maintain fast cadence and full range of movement.
